Some of our customers like banks or transport companies use Videowall Integration to manage large amounts of data and to secure an overall picture. The Sky-Walker Integration Platform software adds value to their video wall, as the operator can supervise and manage devices, sources, applications, windows and other objects from this graphical workstation. The ability to practice control at a distance characterizes the video wall as a flexible display for baseband video and compressed streaming video. Video windows can be positioned anywhere on the wall, even on top of applications, e.g. streaming camera windows can be displayed on top of the Sky-Walker graphical user interface.
As a reference case we illustrate the Videowall Integration at the Entelec office. Entelec installed a Sky-Walker workstation on a video wall controller. This workstation can fully be controlled from another Sky-Walker graphical workstation.
Floor plans can be dragged & dropped to the video wall viewers. In case an alarm occurs, the floor plan will automatically be switched, and will be marked by means of a red flashing border. Moreover you will have the opportunity to switch a salvo, which is a preconfigured group of floor plans, easily. Just by pressing one single button on the Sky-Walker workstation a salvo can be switched to a group of views on the video wall. In no time, an operator can have a complete overview of the situation.
Even sequences of floor plans can be created through simple dragging & dropping of the floor plans to/on the sequence object. The sequence displays a group of floor plans in 1 viewer, one after the other, with a time difference of a pre-programmed dwell time.
Alarms can be switched manually by selecting the alarm line from the alarm buffer and dropping it on the video wall viewer. The floor plan that corresponds with the alarm location will be showed on the wall. By means of a navigation keypad wall images can easily be proceeded.
