The Belgacom Group, composed of Belgacom NV/SA and its main subsidiaries Proximus (Belgacom Mobile), Telindus (Belgacom ICT), Belgacom International Carrier Services, Skynet, Tango and Scarlet, is the largest telecommunication company in Belgium.
Scope
In 2006, Belgacom launched a call for tenders for the delivery, installation, connection and activation of an Integrated Security Platform (ISP) in Belgacom buildings. In 2007 the project was allocated to Telindus, with Sky-Walker as an integration platform.
Features and connected systems
The scope of ISP is to build an upper layer for security systems acting upon a Belgacom premise:
- Access control
- Intrusion detection systems
- Fire detection
- CCTV
- Planned work
- Managed by 6 active servers and 6 hot standby servers
- 24 graphical workstations are distributed over several dispatching points
- Over 760 buildings covering the country, are connected to the Sky-Walker platform
