Sky-Walker offers BT endless possibilities
BT is operative in 180 countries. In the past, the majority of these countries organized security matters on an independent basis. As a result, every country disposes about an inherent security system. That is to say that BT Holland can't verify whether or not Frankfurt receives false alarm signals. BT wanted to change this situation. Another example of an issue BT wanted to change concerns the efficiency of the security service. Imagine two guards working in a data centre in New York; one does his rounds while the other remains in the monitoring centre. As the guard in the monitoring centre doesn't have duties most of the time, it's a waste for the company. Having one guard doing both operations would be much more cost-efficient. When one guard does his rounds, another guard, in Paris for example, can monitor alarms. To enable all this, BT needs an integrative system and this is where Sky-Walker fits in!
