Seamless integration
Within intelligent buildings an integrated synergetic system can be generated owing to a total and seamless integration of an integrated Building Management System (iBMS) and Facility Management (FM). Besides, the system operator only will have to deal with one graphical user interface by which trainings, maintenance, misunderstandings, interpretations, faults,... are reduced to a minimum.
Integration software
Software based integration platforms or iBMS are used to manage all imaginable technical processes, including security and safety in buildings. Besides controlling technical processes, ditto organizational processes can be managed, allowing facility managers to cope with all issues regarding energy consumption, space planning, risk analyses, maintenance, information storage, .... The strategy of organizational processes is grasped by FM.
