background

History

In 1992 CEO Miet Loix started up Entelec Control Systems with Dirk Raets. Together they launched large scale integration projects, using diverse software modules from all over the world.

Entelec Control Systems originally started as an engineering company for HVAC-installations. As control and security systems within buildings became ever more diverse and complex, the company anticipated the need for one uniform and graphical interface. Within the philosophy 'innovation in integration' Entelec created a unique integration platform, baptized 'Sky-Walker'. One of Entelecs first succesfull projects was  Brussels National Airports (BRU) system integration.

Utilizing years of experience in large scale integration projects, Entelec released an own development department of the Sky-Walker integration platform in 1997.

Today, several companies are using the Sky-Walker software to perform integration projects. Through a network of value added resellers Entelec aims to provide her integration solutions worldwide.

High-End Applications

Many consultancy organizations make great use of our expertise. The European Commission, the University of Gent, ING Bank, NMBS/SNCB (National Railway Company of Belgium), Metro de Santiago, and the E40/E25 motorway transition are just a few concepts that draw upon the Sky-Walker integration platform.

These are perfect examples of how an open integration platform can control and manage the most complicated buildings and infrastructures.
